Sumner/Bonney Lake Recreation Department offers dog obedience training

The Sumner/Bonney Lake Recreation Department will offer dog obedience training at both basic and intermediate levels beginning Feb. 5.

This is a six-week session of one-hour Saturday classes at Robert Miller Gymnasium in Sumner, 15206 Daffodil St. Ct. E.

The cost is $80 per dog for the six-week session, which includes a training manual. Dogs of all sizes, breeds and age, as long as the dog is at least 3 months old and has been vaccinated, is welcome.

Jim Grasley is the instructor.

The basic class runs from 2 to 3 p.m. with the intermediate class expanding to 3 to 4 p.m. or 4 to 5 p.m. Classes continue through March 12.
