Funeral planning class at the Bonney Lake Library May 5

The Bonney Lake Library is hosting a class on the essentials of funeral planning during a free event May 5 at the library.

Bob Riler, program specialist for Pierce County Aging and Long Term Care, and Pamela Maddess, with New Tacoma Cemeteries & Funeral Home, will share what needs to be done to plan for a loved one’s funeral.

Participants will learn which arrangements they can make in advance. Planning can eliminate guesswork and save families from making expensive choices.

Registration is required for the class.

The event is sponsored by the Friends of the Bonney Lake Library sponsor this free event.
