Whooping cough clinic will be available at Rite Aid

Bonney Lake Rite Aid is partnering with the community to offer a series of immunization clinics to combat the outbreak of pertussis (whooping cough).

The first clinic is scheduled for 10 a.m. to noon, May 30 at the Bonney Lake Senior Center. Sign up and insurance pre-qualification will be from 10 a.m. top noon May 23.

Cedar Ridge Retirement Community will be hosting a clinic from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. June 2. Sign up and insurance pre-qualification will be 2:30 to 4 p.m. May 25.

Insurance pre-qualification insures all clients are able to afford this important vaccination. Cost without insurance is $65.00. Everyone is invited to sign up and attend.

A registered immunization pharmacist will administer vaccines, and be available at sign up to answer questions.
