A Pierce Transit public workshop is scheduled for Nov. 10 at Sumner City Hall from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The event is one of eight community design workshops in the county, intended to gather public opinion on what is important in transit, said Pierce Transit Planning Director Tina Lee, who spoke to the council about the upcoming workshop and the challenges Pierce Transit faces, such as budget issues.

Members of the public are invited to attend and ask any questions about transportation matters.

Sumner City Hall is located at 1104 Maple Street.
