PLATEAU PEOPLE: Rachel Schaffer of Lake Tapps

Rachel Schaffer of Lake Tapps is a member of the 2009-10 Central College Graham Hall council.

Hall council members are in charge of organizing and implementing activities for the residents of Graham Hall.

During the fall semester, hall council sponsored a progressive snack tour to welcome students to Graham, a giant water balloon fight, a haunted house, which was open for the entire campus, and bingo night.

Shaffer, a sophomore biology major, is a graduate of Auburn Riverside High School, and will serve as vice president.

Central College is a four-year, private, residential, liberal arts college in Pella, Iowa, affiliated with the Reformed Church in America.

Central offers a bachelor’s degree in 38 majors and pre-professional advising.
