The City of Bonney Lake begins showing movies in Allan Yorke Park tomorrow night at dusk, with "Despicable Me."

The animated family feature stars the voice of Steve Carell as Gru, the former No. 1 supervillain and adoptive father to three young girls. Soon, Gru is caught up in a competition against rival Vector to find out who is the superior villain. But will he find that fatherhood is more important than being on top?

The movie is part of the city's Friday Night Flicks series. Movies will be projected onto an inflatable screen outdoors. The city will next show "Soul Surfer" on Aug. 24.
