Sumner High School drama will present "Little Women" at the Performing Arts Center beginning Nov. 15.
The show, directed by SHS Drama teacher Rachel Street, is a two-act play adapted from the 19th Century novel by Louisa May Alcott, a coming-of-age story about four sisters growing up in Civil War era New England. The tale was a critical and commercial success at the time of its release, covering unexplored (at the time) themes of womanhood in the face of tragedies large and small.
Showtimes are 7 p.m. Nov. 15, 7 p.m. Nov. 16, and 2 and 7 p.m. Nov. 17. Admission is $10 for adults, $6 for seniors older than 60 and students.
The Performing Arts Center is located at Sumner High School, 1707 Main Street in Sumner.
