The fourth annual Healthy Living Expo will take place this Saturday at Allan Yorke Park. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

More than 75 booths will fill the main floor of the center, each one representing a medical service available in the area.

“It’s not just for seniors,” Senior Services Assistant and event organizer Staci Guirsch said. “This is for the whole family to learn what options are right here in our community.”

Activities will include prize giveaways, mobile blood donation, health screenings, free vision screenings, a children’s fire safety trailer and a host of speakers and demonstrations.

In addition, East Pierce Fire and Rescue will demonstrate CPR technique in a presentation amusingly titled “Compressing to the Oldies.”

The event is sponsored by MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital, with additional sponsorship from the city of Bonney Lake, Walmart, Enumclaw Regional Hospital, Linden Grove Health Care Center, Medical Imaging Northwest and Wood Creek Health Care.
