Woman wins $150,000 in Hit 5 lottery

A Bonney Lake woman is $150,000 richer this week after she claimed her share of last week's $450,000 "Hit 5" jackpot.

Kim Geib, 56, was one of three winners and claimed her prize Monday after hiding her winning ticket in a dresser drawer over the weekend, according to a press release from Washington's Lottery.

Geib is a patient care representative at Franciscan Health System and plans to use some of her winnings to take a trip with her family.

"I am going to take my family and grandchildren on a big vacation,” Geib explained in the release. “I want to take them to Disneyland!"

Geib told lottery officials she has only played "Hit 5" about 10 times, but has already won twice, though not for nearly as much.

"I like Hit 5 because I won $100 the very first time I played," she said.

Geib purchased her winning ticket at Chevron on Highway 410 in Bonney Lake. The store will receive a retail selling bonus of $1,500. The other two winning "Hit 5" tickets were sold in Seattle and West Richland.
