Police release name of motorcyclist killed Saturday

State police have released the name of a Kent man who was killed Saturday in an accident on state Route 167 in Sumner.

Paul T. Butler, 43, was killed when he lost control of his motorcycle and struck a guardrail while passing the state Routes 410 and 167 interchange.

It is unknown if drugs or alcohol were involved in the crash, but Butler was wearing a helmet at the time.
