Dementia caregivers class at Bonney Lake Library

The Pierce County Library System is offering free information classes for those caring for loved ones with dementia.

Caregivers of persons with dementia will learn how to improve quality of life, for themselves and their loved ones, by decreasing anxiety, fear and frustration. Experts in the field will help caregivers determine a plan based on the type and stage of the disease. Participants will view a brief video of an artist whose vision opens understanding of dementia.

The hour-long event is scheduled for 4 p.m., Aug. 14 at the Bonney Lake Library, 18501 90th St. E.
