College prep workshops at Bonney Lake and Sumner libraries

Bonney Lake and Sumner Pierce County Libraries will offer free prep services for college admissions tests and essays in October and November.
Bonney Lake Library will host a seminar on desirable assets in college application essays on Oct. 13 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. A "10 Question Challenge"—in which students will attempt 10 tough SAT or ACT questions and learn how to approach them—will be held Nov. 10 from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
Sumner Library will host an SAT Practice Test Oct. 13 from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The dry run is a fully proctored test intended to simulate actual test conditions. The library will host a tips and techniques seminar, "SAT Test Strategies 101," on Oct. 23 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Students and parents will formulate a study plan at the latter seminar.
Bonney Lake Library is located at 18501 90th St. E., across from the Bonney Lake City Justice Center.
Sumner Library is located at 1116 Fryar Ave. in Sumner.
