International Walk to School Day | Slideshow

Approximately 72 students at Emerald Hills Elementary School walked or biked to school Wednesday morning as part of International Walk to School Day.

According to district officials, on a normal day, only about 10 students walk to school.

Liberty Ridge Elementary also participated in the event, which was organized by the Sumner School District and the City of Bonney Lake.
