Street of Treats in downtown Sumner tomorrow

Sumner-area trick-or-treaters can turn to the city's downtown area for their annual sugar overdose. Sumner Downtown Merchants and the Sumner Downtown Association will host the Street of Treats tomorrow from 5 to 7 p.m.

The historic downtown section of Main Street (roughly from Sumner Avenue to Kincaid Avenue) will be closed, and street-side shops will be open to hand out treats to costumed kids.

Parents and trick-or-treaters can use the event as a safer alternative to patrolling neighborhoods, or make the rounds of both to double their loot.
