The Greater Bonney Lake Veterans Memorial Committee is planning a flag raising ceremony for Veterans' Day at the site of the future memorial on Main Street.

The group plans to raise a flag at 7 a.m. Nov. 11 and leave it up through the day to honor veterans from around the plateau. The group plans a lowering ceremony near sunset, about 4:30 p.m.

The event will take place at the site of the future veterans memorial at the corner of Main Street and state Route 410, across from the Justice Center.

The group also meets for its regular meeting at 5 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month at the Bonney Lake Senior Center, 19305 Bonney Lake Blvd.
