Sumner girls soccer team wins state championship

The Sumner Spartans are state champions.

Sumner beat Sehome 1-0 Saturday afternoon to win the 2A state Championship.

Sumner advanced to the championship game with a 1-0 win Friday against Squalicum, won in a 4-3 shootout.

The Spartans finished the season undefeated.
