No one injured in morning five-car pileup near Lake Tapps

East Pierce Fire & Rescue reported a five-car pileup at 190th Avenue East and 9th Street East, occurring shortly before 7:16 a.m. Tuesday morning,

The accident began with a head-on collision, which led to three subsequent rear-endings.

Amazingly, no one was seriously injured in the morning escapades. Victims were treated at the scene for minor scratches and bruises, but all involved declined to go to the hospital.

Traffic was tied up for about an hour, but should be clear now.
