April 30, 2009 · Updated 10:59 AM
State Sen. Pam Roach will host a town meeting Saturday morning in Buckley.
The session kicks off at 10 a.m. in the Buckley Armory on River Road. It's one of three stops for the senator, who will also host a 1 p.m. meeting at Sumner City Hall and a 3 p.m. gathering at Auburn City Hall.
Roach and her fellow lawmakers kicked off the 2008 session of the state Legislature Monday in Olympia. This is a short, 60-day session.
Roach, armed with a handful of bills she will be introducing, will discuss upcoming legislation and taking questions from the audience.
Roach represents the 31st Legislative District, which takes in Enumclaw, Buckley, Wilkeson, Bonney Lake and part of Auburn. She was first elected to the Senate in 1990.
For more information about the town hall meetings, call Roach's Olympia office at 360-786-7660 or e-mail her office at roach.pam@leg.wa.gov.
