The Enumclaw Community Hospital Foundation and the Enumclaw Rotary Club raised approximately $33,600 to split on goodwill projects at its annual duck race on the Green River at Flaming Geyser State Park. American Heritage was this year's winner of the Sponsor's Race and will display the traveling trophy for the year. Community members whose "duck came in" were: $1,000, Jeff and Cathy Dahlquist; trip to Reno, Nev., courtesy Enumclaw Travel, Russ Weeks; gas barbecue from Parker Ace Hardware, Laurie Kittelman; Abba Salon and Day Spa visit, Jeri Gamblin; pearl earrings from Tom Poe Diamond Jewelers, Tom Kranc; and $100 Panini Cafe gift certificate, LaVerne Hawthorne.
