The trial for two Wilkeson men charged with first-degree animal cruelty has been postponed.

A Pierce County Superior Court judge ruled last week to postpone the trial for Troy Loney, 18, and Steven Paulson, 20, from May 19 (today) to June 14.

The two men are charged by prosecutors with first-degree animal cruelty, a felony, for tying a stray Siberian husky to a tree near Wilkeson Elementary School March 8 and shooting it with a bow and arrow until it died.
