The following information was made available after press deadlines for this week's edition of the Bonney Lake and Lake Tapps Courier-Herald. A complete story will appear in next week's issue.

A former Bonney Lake police officer, Kenneth McDonough, was acquitted of domestic violence assault Monday by a Pierce County District Court jury.

McDonough was fired by Police Chief Bryan Jeter and Mayor Bob Young in October. He was accused of using the department computer to view pornography and giving his girlfriend unauthorized rides in his squad car.
