Boating education course set

Boaters at least 12 years old in need of their boating education cards may obtain it through boating education courses offered by the city of Bonney Lake.

There will be opportunities in March, April and May to complete the mandatory safety class to legally operate a motorized water craft of 15 horsepower or greater.

Courses are 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. March 7, April 4 and May 2. The course costs $35 and there is a $10 fee payable to Washington State Parks for the education card.
