Persons who cannot make it to the Bonney Lake City Hall to conduct Bonney Lake business during regular hours, will have a chance Saturday.

From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the city will host “Customer Service Saturday.”

“This is the first year in doing something like this,” Mayor Neil Johnson said. “The plan is to evaluate the effectiveness of being open Saturday, then see if we should add another date or two.”

The Muncipal Court and utilities counters will be open so people can apply for or renew passports, purchase annual boat launch passes and pay utility bills or court fines.

“If it is well utilized, then it may be easier to justify the flexible work schedules in making this happen more frequently,” Johnson said.

City Hall is at 19306 Bonney Lake Blvd.
