The Orting Chamber of Commerce will sponsor the Culpepper and Merriweather Circus May 30 at Ptarmigan Ridge Intermediate School for two performances.

The performances are at 2 and 4:30 p.m.

The circus has become internationally known for quality family entertainment. It has also been featured on the A&E Special: Under the Big Top and most recently, On the Road with Circus Kids, a Nickelodeon special featured on the Nick News Program.

This year the circus will present Skeeter as the circus’ advance clown. Skeeter will be in town about two weeks before circus day to visit schools, day cares, recreation centers, libraries, and senior centers.

The morning of the circus, between 9:30 and 10 a.m., watch the raising of the tent, then attend a free tour.

Tickets are $6 in advance for children ages 2 to 12, children under two are free, and $8 for adults. Tickets are $1.50 more on the day of the circus.

For more information, call the chamber at 360-893-5000.
