Monday night crash injures man in Sumner

A man remains in serious condition at a local hospital after he was injured in a single-vehicle rollover accidents Monday, July 27.

The accident happened about 5 p.m. in the 14800 block of 8th Street East in Lake Tapps, according to a press release by Valley Regional Fire Authority Monday afternoon.

East Pierce Fire and Rescue, along with units from the Valley Regional Fire Authority, responded to the scene. When medic arrive on the scene, they found a male in his 40s who had been ejected from his westbound vehicle.

The man was extricated and transported by East Pierce to local trauma center.

The accident is under investigation by Auburn Police Department.
