Sumner amends budget

Sumner City Council adopted an amendment to its 2009-2010 biennial budget at the Dec. 7 meeting.

The amendment calls for adjustments in the Local Improvement District (LID) fund for debt service payments, the sidewalk fund's reimbursement and revisions to other funds including the street fund.

Council determined the increase in costs of maintaining infrastructure and providing the services needed to Sumner's parks, information technology, administration and more, made required budget modifications.
