Holiday closures announced

All city, school and state offices will be closed during the holiday.

Bonney Lake City Hall will be closed Thursday and Friday in observance of Christmas.

Sumner City Hall will be closed Friday for Christmas and on Dec. 31 and Jan. 1 to observe New Year’s.

Sumner School District offices will be closed Thursday through Jan. 1, and will reopen Jan. 4.

Dieringer School District will be closed until Jan. 4.

The Pierce County Library System will be closed Thursday and Friday to observe Christmas. Also, the library system will be closed at 5 p.m. Dec. 31, and Jan. 1 to observe New Year’s.

While the library is closed, customers may continue to access free services online and download audio and e-book and use e-sources with subscription magazines, personal investment information, car repair manuals and more at www.piercecountylibrary.org.

The Courier-Herald office will be closed for business Friday, but will open for business 8 a.m. Monday.
