Don't throw rocks from glass houses | Letter

Just a short note in reference to Ms. Van Veen’s previous letter to the editor (Courier-Herald, March 21).

She ended her article by stating that no one should be ridiculed, ignored, hated, beaten or killed because of who they love. However,  in the first paragraph of her article she referred to the Bible as “ancient writings of ignorant sheep herders?” What about those of us who  love the Bible and esteem as the written word of God, Ms. Van Veen? I guess it is (by your standards) OK to ridicule some people, right?
