Culture glamorizing violence contributed to Colorado massacre | Letter

I am stunned, outraged and sickened by the massacre that took place in the Colorado movie theater.

I took a communications class in college and the teacher's premise was that the culture contributed 50 percent to a criminal committing a crime.

I disagreed at the time. Now I agree.

I don't think it was written into the Constitution that we need to know the resumé of the despicable killer and his or her video of how they planned it.

Our culture glamorizes violence and the people who commit crimes.
