A trio of local soccer standouts – Bonney Lake High midfielder Savannah Moorehouse and defender Brianna Jones, along with Sumner High forward Kaylie Rozell – received the top honor available to a Washington prep soccer player last week when they were named to the all-state team.

Moorehouse and Jones made the Class 3A squad and Rozell was named to the 2A team.

All-state honors were voted upon by coaches from throughout Washington.

Picking up second-team honors was Sumner midfielder Megan Fenton.

Also on the 3A first team was Caitlin Plese, a goalkeeper from Enumclaw High. Cassidy France, a midfielder, was named to the 2A all-state second team.
