Bonney Lake, Sumner win in district play | FASTPITCH

Both Bonney Lake and Sumner High won their first-round games Friday in West Central District fastpitch action.

In Class 3A play, Bonney Lake defeated Capital High 12-2. The Panthers advance to play the Camas Papermakers at 4 p.m.

In the 2A bracket, Sumner beat North Mason 3-1. The Spartans advance to play Interlake at 6 p.m.

All tournament games are at the Sprinker Recreation Center in Spanaway.
