J. Michael Kelly takes seventh in final heat at Albert Lee Cup

Bonney Lake's resident hydroplane racer, J. Michael Kelly, completed the Seafair Albert Lee Cup in seventh place.
Kelly piloted craft No. 37 on behalf of Schumacher Racing. The team is sponsored by Beacon Plumbing this season.
The pilot's craft began the weekend with the eighth qualifying speed at 143.549 mph.
Kelly took third place in Heat 1A, third again in Heat 2B, and first in Heat 3B. He dropped to the seventh position in the final heat.
The race winner was Steve David of No. 6 Oh Boy! Oberto.
Kelly had the fourth highest accumulated points (minus qualifying round points) with 921. He had the fifth most accumulate points with the qualifying round, at 951.
Jimmy Shane, piloting No. 5 Graham Trucking, had the highest accumulated points without and with the qualifying round, at 1400 and 1470 respectively.
