Panthers bring down Peninsula 3-1 | Bonney Lake Volleyball

The Bonney Lake Panther Volleyball team is off to a great start this week, with a pair of wins that takes them to an overall record of 5-2 with a 3-0 record in the South Puget Sound League 3A.
Bonney Lake got the week rolling with 3-0 victory Monday over Decatur and then followed up Wednesday night with a 3-1 win over Peninsula.
Lisa Demick led the Panthers with seven kills against Decatur, followed by Taylor Moss with six kills. Demick also tallied eight aces and Moss added four.
Ashtyn Bagby led the Panthers with 21 assists.
Bagby again led the team in assists Wednesday against Peninsula, adding five kills on top of that. Moss picked up an additional 13 kills in the match, as well as nine digs.
Kylie Acuna also notched 13 kills, adding seven blocks and nine digs against the Seahawks.
The Panthers next match is set for Tuesday at Lakes.
