Panther soccer finishes season with win, earns No. 2 seed in SPSL 3A

Madi Adams and Ashley Cade kept things rolling for the Bonney Lake girls soccer team Thursday night during a 2-0 win over league rivals Enumclaw in the last game of the regular season.
The subdistrict tournament begins Wednesday at Highline Stadium in Burien.
Adams scored both goals and Cade has both assists for the Panthers as goalie Sydney Bennett earned her fourth consecutive shutout.
Bonney Lake will head into the postseason next week riding a four-game win streak.
The win over Enumclaw brings the Panthers' record to 9-4-2 with a 8-2-0 record in the South Puget Sound League 3A. Bonney Lake finished second in the league with 24 points, just behind Enumclaw, who finished with 25 points.
The No. 2 seed Panthers take on the winner of the Seamount League at 7 p.m. Wednesday. The winner earns the No. 1 seed for the district tournament, which begins Nov. 3. The loser will also move on to the district tournament as the No. 4 seed.
