Hardwood losses pile up for Bonney Lake

The Bonney Lake High boys lost two games last week on the hardwood, but the teams keeps battling.
The Panthers hosted district rival Sumner Friday and lost 43-32.
Jan. 12 Bonney Lake hosted Timberline in a nonleague game and lost 52-50 in overtime, the third overtime loss for the boys this season.
Against Sumner, the Panthers fell behind at the half 20-11 and could never overcome the early deficit.
Riley Baltazar scored eight points to lead Bonney Lake.
Against Timberline, the Panthers led at the half 26-20. Timberline had a big fourth frame scoring 17 to 13 for Bonney Lake, and tied the game at the end of regulation time.
Braun had a big night with 18 points and Baltazar 13.
Bonney Lake hosted Enumclaw Tuesday; scores were not available. The Panthers are on the road for a 7 p.m. game Friday against Peninsula and host Clover Park at 7 p.m. Saturday.
