Bonney Lake's Veronic Stinnett finishes seventh at Adidas Golden West Invitational

Bonney Lake junior Veronica Stinnett placed seventh at the Adidas Golden West Invitational June 13 at Folsom High School Stadium in Folsom, Calif.

Stinnett ran a personal-best of 2 minutes, and 16.16 second in the 800 meter run and competed against the top high school runners in the nation.

She was four seconds behind the top finisher.

Stinnett has cut eight seconds off her time since last month.
