The inexperienced Sumner High wrestling squad ended up 0-8 in the South Puget Sound League 3A regular-season campaign, closing things with a 79-0 shutout loss at the hands of tough and talented Enumclaw.

Enumclaw won every match at Sumner High by either forfeit or fall except at 112 and 140 pounds, where Anthony Martin and Tyler Hidalgo dropped close decisions.

Sumner’s full squad will take the bus ride north to the subdistrict tournament at Auburn Mountainview High, which gets under way Friday afternoon.
